“Ciao! Mi chiamo Imogen. Sono nata in Inghilterra e ho vissuto a Bath fino a quando avevo 8 anni. Poi io e la mia famiglia ci siamo trasferiti nel centro Italia, nelle Marche, quindi sono bilingue. Parliamo sempre in inglese a casa nonostante 2 delle mie 3 sorelle siano nate in Italia! Ho vissuto nelle Marche per 11 anni dove ho frequentato il liceo linguistico, prima di trasferirmi nel 2014 a Trieste dove sto studiando per diventare traduttrice e interprete. Le lingue hanno sempre avuto un ruolo molto importante nella mia vita e vorrei poter imparare ogni lingua del mondo! Credo che tutti dovrebbero saper parlare almeno una lingua straniera e conoscere altre culture… iniziare fin da piccoli è la scelta migliore, soprattutto se si impara giocando e divertendosi! Sono piena di energia e in particolare amo ballare… il mio più grande amore sarà sempre l’hip hop! Mi piace trasmettere questa energia ai bambini e ai ragazzi mentre insegno, le mie lezioni sono spesso movimentate e il mio obiettivo principale è far appassionare gli altri della mia lingua madre. Per puro caso mi sono imbattuta in Giocomondo e fin da subito ho capito che era il luogo adatto a me e soprattutto che volevo fare parte del Giocomondo Team, una grande famiglia di insegnanti che si dedicano ai loro piccoli studenti!“
“Hi! My name is Imogen. I was born in England and I lived in Bath until I was 8 years old. Then my family and I moved to central Italy, le Marche, so I am bilingual. We always speak English at home even though 2 of my 3 sisters were born in Italy! I lived in Le Marche for 11 years, where I studied languages in High School, before moving to Trieste in 2014 where I am studying to be a translator and interpreter. Languages have always played a very important role in my life and I wish I could learn every language in the world! I think everyone should be able to speak a foreign language and get to know other cultures… starting when you’re little is the best choice, especially if you learn while playing and having fun! I am full of energy and I love to dance… my biggest love will always be hip hop! I like to pass my energy on to the kids when I’m teaching, my lessons are often lively and my main goal is to make other people love my mother tongue too. I just happened to find Giocomondo and I knew straight away that it was the place for me and above all that I wanted to be a part of the Giocomondo Team, a big family made up of teachers who give 100% to their little students.“
